Reporting To: Plant Head / Operations Manager
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Experience Required: 5–8 Years (Manufacturing Industry Preferred)
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive maintenance in charge to oversee maintenance activities in our manufacturing facility. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and electronics maintenance, ensuring smooth operation of machinery, reduced downtime, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and carry out corrective maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum equipment availability.
Mechanical Maintenance
- Maintain and repair motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, and other mechanical equipment.
- Perform machine inspections and identify potential maintenance issues.
- Assist in machine installation, alignment, and modification activities.
Electrical & Electronics Maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical panels, motors, sensors, control wiring, and electrical systems.
- Handle PLC-based machines, VFDs, and automation equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical and electronic components across the plant.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Guide technicians during maintenance and breakdown activities.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance practices within the department.
- Support implementation of 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronics maintenance.
- Basic understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle breakdown situations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
