Full-Stack Engineer — Clipify
Clipify is a live creator payout and campaign platform — real money, real creators, production Discord support.
We're hiring one full-time engineer to handle escalated issues, ship fixes, and innovate on the platform. This is a long-term role with a 30-day mutual evaluation period (paid at full rate).
What you'll work on
- Escalated support tickets — payouts, view tracking, submissions, and creator issues (Discord)
- Full-stack fixes and features on Next.js, TypeScript, React, and Supabase
- AI implementation — Claude/Cursor in daily dev; building AI-assisted workflows (e.g., ticket triage, internal tooling)
- Backend systems — APIs, Inngest workers, webhooks, Stripe Connect, crypto payouts (Base USDC)
- Frontend polish — UI that creators and admins trust; no sloppy states or broken flows
- Security-sensitive backend work — auth, RLS, payout logic, data integrity (founder reviews critical paths early on)
- Platform growth — PayPal rail, admin ops tools, eventually owning Clipify engineering
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent CS-focused degree)
- Proven full-stack experience — shipped both frontend and backend in production
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Next.js, and PostgreSQL/SQL
- Hands-on AI implementation — daily use of Claude, Cursor, or equivalent; can integrate AI into real workflows
- Creativity — propose better UX, simpler flows, and practical solutions; don't wait to be told every fix
- Attention to detail — pixel-level care on UI and rigorous care on backend security, auth, and money paths
- Competence — debug across API → DB → background jobs without hand-holding; ship work that holds up in production
- Clear English — async updates, support context, and calls with the founder
- Startup ownership — handle messy priorities with high accountability and no excuses on broken production issues
Nice to have
- Supabase (RLS, migrations, auth)
- Inngest or similar async/workflow systems
- Stripe Connect or payment/payout systems
- Web3/crypto payouts (EVM, USDC)
- Support/ops experience with real users
- GCP or Vercel deployment
