About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage all aspects of our accounting and finance operations. This is a critical replacement role for our current finance head, so the bar is set high — we need someone who can step in and run the department with minimal supervision and zero errors.
Our company deals in B2B imports of power tools, lifting equipment, and agricultural machinery, and we need someone who understands the importance of precision, timeliness, and ownership in financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain full sets of accounts
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns
- Manage cash flow, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management
- Coordinate with CA and other consultants as required
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Identify and fix any discrepancies without delay
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant accounting experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Busy, Tally and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian tax laws
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly responsible and capable of working independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
