About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented VLSI Design Engineer to join our semiconductor design team. The candidate will be involved in the design, verification, and implementation of digital and/or analog integrated circuits, contributing to the development of high-performance semiconductor solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop VLSI circuits and modules based on project requirements.
- Perform RTL coding using Verilog/SystemVerilog and validate functionality.
- Execute functional verification, simulation, and debugging of digital designs.
- Participate in synthesis, timing analysis, and design optimization activities.
- Work closely with verification, physical design, and validation teams.
- Analyze and resolve design issues to improve performance, power, and area (PPA).
- Prepare design documentation, reports, and technical specifications.
- Support silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation activities.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Digital Electronics, CMOS Fundamentals, and VLSI Design Concepts.
- Knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog and RTL Design.
- Familiarity with FPGA, ASIC Design Flow, and Verification Methodologies.
- Understanding of Static Timing Analysis (STA), Synthesis, and DFT concepts.
- Exposure to EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, ModelSim, Vivado, or similar.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL is preferred.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EEE), VLSI Design, Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I), or related fields.
- Freshers with relevant academic projects or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with VLSI design projects, FPGA implementation, or semiconductor internships.
- Knowledge of low-power design techniques and verification methodologies.
- Understanding of semiconductor fabrication and physical design flow.
