Key Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, and consolidate daily trip sheets, driver attendance, and vehicle odometer (ODO) readings across a large driver base spanning multiple depots and routes.
- Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on trip counts, driver attendance, vehicle utilization, and route-wise performance at scale.
- Identify and flag data discrepancies such as ODO mismatches, missing trip sheets, or driver–vehicle allocation errors, and follow up for correction across depots.
- Maintain accurate digital records of driver deployment, attendance, and duty rosters for a large workforce across multiple routes/depots.
- Reconcile biometric/manual attendance data with HR inputs as required.
- Build and maintain scalable Excel sheet trackers and dashboards capable of handling high daily data volumes across depots.
- Coordinate daily with multiple depot supervisors, drivers, and conductors to ensure same-day closure of operational data across the Chennai project.
- Support client-facing reporting requirements with accurate, well-formatted operational summaries at project scale.
- Escalate recurring data gaps, compliance issues, or depot-level bottlenecks to the Operations Manager in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Graduate in any discipline; B.Com, BBA, or BCA preferred.
- Diploma/certification in Computer Applications will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Formatting.
- Comfortable working on ERP systems for shared, real-time data tracking.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills, with the ability to handle high daily data volumes without errors.
- Familiarity with any ERP software (ERPNext or similar) is a strong plus.
Domain Knowledge (Preferred)
- Prior exposure to transport, logistics, or fleet MIS reporting (trip sheets, DOR, ODO tracking), ideally on a large or multi-depot fleet.
- Experience with attendance/biometric data reconciliation for a large workforce.
- Familiarity with driver/conductor deployment or route-wise operational reporting across multiple depots.
Key Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to independently identify data discrepancies, even at high data volumes.
- High level of discipline and punctuality, given the daily-closure nature of operational MIS.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills to work with multiple depot supervisors and ground staff simultaneously.
- Ability to work with both digital systems and physical/paper-based trip records.
- Working knowledge of Tamil for ground-level coordination, along with basic English/Hindi for reporting.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to work to daily deadlines without close supervision, even as data volumes scale up.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
