Job Description – Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Senior Backend Engineer with strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience in building scalable, high-performance, and production-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing distributed systems, optimizing databases, and developing reliable backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Build high-performance, low-latency, and fault-tolerant backend systems.
- Design efficient database schemas, optimize queries, and implement caching strategies.
- Develop microservices and distributed systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and improve system reliability.
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment environments.
Required Skills
- Strong backend development experience with Golang, Node.js, Java, Python, Rust, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of System Design, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Distributed Systems.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Microservices, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Redis, and database optimization.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of caching, asynchronous processing, event-driven architecture, and message queues.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

- Terraform / CloudFormation
- JWT, OAuth2 & Secure API Design
