We are looking for an experienced Structural Detailer / Draftsman who can independently transform structural design data into accurate, production-ready drawings. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in Tekla Structures, which is the primary software required to deliver our Fabrication and Erection drawings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drawing Generation via Tekla: Utilize Tekla Structures as the primary tool to model and generate comprehensive, error-free Fabrication drawings (shop drawings) and Erection drawings for PEB sections.
- Data Translation: Interpret structural engineering designs, calculations, and architectural layouts provided by in-house or third-party engineers, translating them into 3D Tekla models.
- Bill of Materials (BOM): Extract accurate Material Take-Offs (MTO), cutting lists, assembly lists, and bolt lists directly from the Tekla model for procurement and production.
- Quality & Standards: Ensure all model outputs comply with industry standards (IS/AISC), company manufacturing capabilities, and safety codes.
- Clash Detection & Correction: Perform rigorous clash checks within Tekla to identify discrepancies or missing information, coordinating with engineers to resolve them before fabrication begins.
- Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the production floor team to address any technical queries during the manufacturing and assembly process.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures is mandatory. Ability to handle modeling, detailing, and drawing generation independently. Proficiency in AutoCAD for secondary tasks is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 7 years of proven experience specifically in PEB and Structural Steel detailing using Tekla (Mandatory).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, welding symbols, connection details, and PEB structural behavior.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or an ITI Draftsman certification.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong spatial awareness, and the ability to meet tight production deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
