About the Role
RepIndia is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our Mumbai team. You will work closely with our creative and social media teams to produce engaging video content for brands across digital platforms.
This opportunity is ideal for freshers or students who want hands-on experience working in a fast-paced digital marketing agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit reels, short-form videos and social media content.
- Assist with editing brand campaigns, promotional videos and digital content.
- Add transitions, subtitles, graphics, music and sound effects.
- Perform basic colour correction, audio syncing and video enhancement.
- Adapt videos into different formats and dimensions for social media platforms.
- Organise raw footage, project files and final video assets.
- Work closely with designers, copywriters and creative teams.
- Complete assigned projects within the given timelines.
- Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles and social media formats.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
- Understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions and storytelling.
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other digital video formats.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-based video editing tools is a plus.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to take feedback and work collaboratively with a team.
Eligibility
- Freshers, recent graduates and students pursuing a course in Film, Media, Animation, Mass Communication or a related field may apply.
- Candidates with relevant certification or self-taught video editing skills are also welcome.
- A portfolio, showreel or sample of video-editing work is mandatory.
- Candidates must be available for a full-time, on-site internship for six months.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
