Job Summary
The Location HR Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations at the R&D facility, including employee attendance, recruitment coordination, onboarding, payroll inputs, employee engagement, statutory compliance support, and maintaining employee records. The role acts as the primary HR point of contact for employees and ensures smooth HR administration in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily HR operations and act as the HR representative for the R&D location.
- Maintain employee attendance, leave records, shift schedules, and provide accurate monthly payroll inputs.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including sourcing, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding.
- Handle joining formalities, induction programs, and documentation for new employees.
- Prepare and maintain HR documents such as appointment letters, confirmation letters, transfer letters, promotion letters, and experience/relieving letters.
- Maintain and update employee personal files and HRMS records.
- Track probation periods, contract renewals, and employee confirmations.
- Address employee queries related to attendance, leave, payroll, and company policies.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, training programs, and welfare initiatives at the R&D location.
- Support performance appraisal and increment processes by maintaining relevant records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and statutory requirements applicable to the R&D facility.
- Coordinate with the Corporate HR, Accounts, and Administration teams for smooth HR operations.
- Maintain HR MIS reports and submit periodic reports on manpower, attendance, attrition, and recruitment status.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate HR records and statutory registers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/MSW/PGDM in HR preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a chemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or R&D environment.
- Experience in handling end-to-end HR activities independently at a plant or branch location is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll inputs, and attendance management.
- Basic understanding of labour laws and statutory compliances applicable to manufacturing and R&D units.
- Proficiency in HRMS, biometric attendance systems, and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Good communication, interpersonal, and employee grievance-handling skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage HR activities independently.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
An HR professional with experience in managing location-level HR operations in a chemical manufacturing or R&D environment, capable of independently handling employee lifecycle activities, statutory compliance support, and coordination with Corporate HR to ensure smooth people operations.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
