Job Title: Quality – Line Inspector (Automotive Manufacturing)
We are hiring an experienced Quality – Line Inspector to manage and monitor inspection activities on automotive production lines. The candidate should have at least 1+ year of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry and be responsible for ensuring products meet required quality standards.
The role involves working closely with production, engineering, and supervisors to improve process quality, reduce defects, and maintain product integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- In-Process Inspections: Perform routine, interval-based checks on products as they move down the assembly line to catch defects early.
- Compliance Verification: Ensure operators follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and that mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke) controls are working properly.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials or parts to prevent them from progressing to the next stage.
- Tool Calibration: Verify that measurement equipment, gauges, and instruments are calibrated and fit for daily use.
- Reporting & Documentation: Log inspection results, generate shift reports, and input data into quality tracking databases.
Requirements:
- 0- 5 year of experience in automotive quality inspection
- Knowledge of production line inspection and quality standards
- Good coordination and reporting skills
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Industrial Engineering.
