Key Responsibilities
- Portal Management: Registering the company on the GeM portal and managing the primary vendor dashboard.
- Catalog Management: Uploading, categorizing, updating, and maintaining product catalogs while adhering to GeM parameters.
- Bidding & Tendering: Tracking suitable government tenders, downloading bid documents, preparing technical/financial quotes, and participating in Reverse Auctions.
- Documentation: Handling compliance documentation, EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) processing, and post-bid clarifications.
- Order Processing: Managing order fulfillments, tracking dispatches, handling buyer escalations, and following up on payment realizations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Typically requires 6 months to 3+ years of experience in e-tendering and GeM operations.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and handling PDF documentation.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of GeM policies, GTC/STC (General/Special Terms and Conditions), and public procurement guidelines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
Common Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Bid Conversion Rate: Successful bid-to-win ratio.
- Compliance Accuracy: Zero rejection rate on technical evaluations due to document errors.
- Order Turnaround Time (TAT): Speed of order dispatch and delivery confirmation on the portal. [1]
