- We are looking for a dynamic Team Lead with 6-7 years of expertise in Individual income tax returns (Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR) with exceptional team management skills. This role involves overseeing the preparation and review of complex tax returns while managing a team of tax professionals. Your leadership will ensure the highest quality of tax services and foster a collaborative team environment.
Job Description:
- Oversee the preparation and review of individual tax returns (Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR).
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring their development and performance.
- Coordinate workload distribution, ensuring timely completion of tasks and compliance with tax laws.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to benefit clients.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure the team is informed and compliant.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead/Managers to set departmental goals and objectives.
- Assist in recruitment, training, and evaluation of tax staff.
- Minimum of 6-7 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Extensive experience with individual and business tax forms, including international tax components.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Qualification:
- M.B.A in Accounting and Finance, Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Language Proficiency (If Any):
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Required Certifications (If Any):
- Enrolled Agent (added advantage)
- C.P.A (added advantage)
Computer Proficiency G specifications:
- Well-versed with advance MS Office, mainly MS Excel and Outlook
