We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in deploying and managing Nextcloud environments, server installation, and network administration - with a strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
Key responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Nextcloud instances on-premises
Manage server hardware and operating system setup (Linux/Windows)
Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network and server issues
Administer firewalls, switches, routers, and VPN configurations
Perform regular backups, security audits, and system updates
Document infrastructure configurations and maintain technical records
Provide technical support and escalation for infrastructure incidents
Requirements
Proven experience with Nextcloud installation and administration
Hands-on experience with Linux server setup (Ubuntu/CentOS/Debian)
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols
Experience with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, ping, traceroute, etc.)
Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, or KVM)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Good verbal and written communication skills
Pay: ₹150,000.00 per month
