Job Description : Freelance Video Editor (SaaS & Product Marketing)
We are looking for a talented Freelance Video Editor to help us produce high-converting, premium video content. Our projects focus on SaaS marketing, product automation tools, and e-commerce media solutions. We need an editor who understands how to turn software screen recordings and raw assets into engaging, punchy digital ads and explainer videos.
Role & Engagement Details
- Location: Fully Remote
- Employment Type: Freelance / Contract / Project-based
- Compensation: Competitive, project-based rates (Pay-per-video or monthly retainer, negotiable based on portfolio and experience)
Key Responsibilities
- SaaS Explainers & Product Ads: Edit high-retention product videos, feature walk-throughs, and 30–45 second promotional ads (e.g., highlighting automated photo workflows, background removal, or store publishing).
- Social Media Optimization: Format and optimize edits for multiple platforms, specifically high-impact 9:16 vertical videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) and 16:9 widescreen formats (YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Dynamic Storytelling: Take a script/storyboard and elevate it using kinetic typography, clean text overlays, smart pacing, and seamless transitions to keep viewers hooked from the first 3 seconds.
- Audio & Visual Polish: Handle essential color grading, sound design (audio leveling, sound effects, and choosing background music), and basic motion graphics.
- Iterative Revisions: Collaboratively implement feedback and adjustments within an agreed number of revision rounds.
Requirements & Technical Skills
- Software Mastery: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- SaaS/Tech Familiarity: Experience (or strong comfort level) editing software walkthroughs, screen captures, or digital interface animations is a major plus.
- Communication & Workflow: Ability to communicate clearly over Slack, WhatsApp, or email, work independently, and hit strict project deadlines.
- File Management: Reliable internet connection capable of handling high-speed file transfers (Google Drive, Frame.io, WeTransfer).
- Portfolio: Mandatory. A diverse showreel or portfolio showcasing short-form video ads, social media content, or product explainers.
Pay: ₹10,210.90 - ₹35,889.83 per month
