Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Floor Supervisor to oversee daily workshop or showroom floor operations. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of automotive processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the workshop/showroom floor
- Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor work progress
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety procedures
- Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, and parts departments
- Monitor turnaround time and ensure timely vehicle delivery
- Handle customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and workflow efficiency among staff
- Conduct regular inspections of tools, equipment, and work areas
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff
- Prepare daily reports on operations, performance, and issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in an automotive workshop or service center
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, repairs, and service processes
- Leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
