Role Summary
We are looking for a proactive Operations Executive to manage day-to-day logistics and operational activities, including merchandise and prasad fulfilment. The role is hands-on and suited to someone with practical logistics knowledge who can coordinate across vendors, courier partners and internal teams to ensure smooth, on-time delivery as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics: inbound and outbound shipments, dispatch scheduling and delivery tracking.
- Coordinate with courier and logistics partners to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries and resolve delays.
- Oversee merchandise and order handling — stock movement, packaging quality and inventory upkeep.
- Vendor management: onboard, coordinate and maintain relationships with prasad and merchandise vendors; manage order placement, follow-ups, dispatch confirmation and performance tracking.
- Inventory planning and management: forecast monthly requirements, maintain optimal stock levels and buffer, track consumption and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Support daily operations execution, fulfilment oversight and quick resolution of operational issues.
- Maintain operational records, trackers and basic reports (shipments, stock, vendor orders, pending orders).
- Coordinate with internal teams (onboarding, customer support, finance) for smooth workflow.
- Help maintain SLAs and flag risks to delivery timelines proactively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain or fulfilment.
- Practical knowledge of logistics and dispatch processes (courier coordination, tracking, last-mile delivery).
- Experience or aptitude in vendor coordination and inventory planning/management.
- Any graduation preferred, but not mandatory — relevant experience is valued over a degree.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets for trackers and basic reporting.
- Languages: Hindi and English mandatory (spoken and written).
- Good coordination, follow-up and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving and ownership mindset.
Good to Have
- Exposure to e-commerce, D2C or temple/devotional services operations.
- Familiarity with vendor coordination and inventory management.
- Basic understanding of GST / shipping documentation.
- Knowledge of any regional language — Kannada, Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam.
