AWS QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AWS QA Engineer with expertise in testing serverless and event-driven applications on AWS. The role involves validating cloud-native applications, supporting modernization initiatives, and leveraging AWS Kiro for AI-assisted testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test strategies for applications built on AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and Kinesis.
- Validate event-driven workflows, API integrations, and data persistence in DynamoDB/S3.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and API test suites.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Support application modernization programs (legacy to cloud-native).
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Leverage AWS Kiro and GenAI tools for test case generation, test data creation, and defect detection.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
Required Skills:
- Strong QA Automation experience in AWS environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, EventBridge, Kinesis, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Experience with automation frameworks (Jest, Java/Spring Boot, or similar).
- API testing using Postman/REST tools.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and CloudWatch.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools (AWS Kiro preferred).
Preferred:
- AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner/Developer).
- Experience with Kafka/MSK, performance testing, and enterprise-scale AWS modernization projects.
