Job Summary:
We are hiring a Quality Incharge with 3 years of experience in the engineering industry. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, conducting inspections, handling quality documentation, and ensuring all engineering components meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspection.
- Ensure engineering components meet drawing specifications and quality standards.
- Handle production quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and quality performance.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for quality improvement.
- Ensure proper calibration and usage of measuring instruments.
- Maintain ISO documentation and quality procedures.
- Follow customer quality requirements and standards.
- Train shop floor operators on quality procedures and inspection methods.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance processes.
- Experience in handling measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Indicator
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T basics.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reports preparation).
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE Mechanical or relevant engineering qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing industry.
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in machining, fabrication, automotive, CNC, VMC, or heavy engineering industry preferred.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
