Required Skills & Qualifications
(Fresher / Graduate Level)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE, CS, IT, or related fields)
- Basic understanding of telecom or computer networks
- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI layers, DNS, routing basics)
- Interest in telecom services, network testing, or service assurance
- Willingness to work in a non production / lab testing environment
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with offshore–onsite teams and different time zones
Technical Skills (Academic Knowledge / Hands On Exposure Preferred)
Networking & Telecom (Basic to Intermediate)
- Voice concepts: VoIP, SIP (basic call flow understanding)
- Data networks: IP, LAN/WAN basics, routing & switching fundamentals
- Awareness of transport/network services is a plus
Logs, Traces & Packet Analysis (Training Provided)
- Exposure to tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar packet capture tools
- Understanding of logs, alarms, and trace files (academic or lab exposure is sufficient)
Test & Defect Management (Learn on Job)
- Familiarity with Jira, ALM, HP QC, or ticketing tools is a plus
- Able to follow test cases, execution steps, and result documentation
Tools & Environment
- Ability to work with VPNs, jump servers, and remote lab environments
- Basic Linux commands knowledge is an advantage
