Role Overview
The Channel & Industrial Support Engineer serves as the technical face of the organization, providing comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales support to channel partners and customers. The role focuses on enabling the sales team through technical expertise, conducting customer-facing events, enhancing product and application knowledge across channel networks, and supporting business growth through lead generation and competitive market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Development & Support
- Build and strengthen access to industrial channels across the assigned territory.
- Induct, train, and closely collaborate with channel partners.
- Develop strong relationships with electrical and industrial channel partners.
- Provide technical guidance and support to channel sales teams.
- Technical & Customer Support
- Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
- Conduct product demonstrations and installations at customer sites.
- Handle technical queries from internal teams and external customers.
- Provide compliance and application support.
- Business Development & Lead Generation
- Generate leads through:
- Customer and industry events.
- Application-based marketing initiatives.
- New product launches and promotions.
- Product demonstrations and installations.
- Analysis of past service cases.
- Forecast gap reviews and follow-ups.
- Market Intelligence
- Gather and analyze competitor information.
- Prepare product comparison documents and white papers.
- Support channel partners with competitive positioning strategies.
- Territory
- Travel across an assigned region, typically covering areas within an overnight train journey from the home city.
- Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering (Mandatory).
Experience Required
- 2–4 years of experience in Testing, Maintenance, or Industrial Electrical/Instrumentation applications.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrical testing instruments and field support activities is preferred.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
