Assistant ProfessorMinimum Eligibility
- Master's Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks (or an equivalent grade).
- MBA / PGDM (equivalent to MBA) for Management disciplines from recognized institute/Universities.
- M.Com./MFC for Commerce from recognized institute/Universities.
- Relevant specialization such as Finance, Marketing, HR, Business Analytics, Operations, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Fintech, Logistics, etc.
- Ph.D. preferred in the mentioned specializations (Desirable).
- NET/SLET/SET qualification preferred wherever applicable.
- Research publications, patents, funded projects, and consultancy experience desirable.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience.
- Significant research contributions through quality publications, patents, books, funded projects, consultancy, innovation, or technology transfer.
- Experience in academic administration and curriculum development preferred.
Professor
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience.
- Minimum 03 years as an Associate Professor (Desirable).
- Successfully guided at least two Ph.D. scholars in relevant areas (Desirable).
- Strong record of high-quality publications, funded projects, patents, research guidance, innovation, and academic leadership.
- Proven ability to lead departments, centres, and interdisciplinary research initiatives.
JKU is particularly interested in candidates having:
- Strong commitment to outcome-based education.
- Experience with NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and accreditation processes.
- Research publications in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
- Funded research projects from Government or Industry.
- Patent filing and commercialization experience.
- Startup, incubation, and innovation ecosystem exposure.
- Industry collaboration and consultancy experience.
- Expertise in AI-enabled teaching and learning practices.
- International academic exposure and collaborations.
Compensation
- Salary shall be as per UGC 6th Pay Scale and DA as per University Norms.
- Higher emoluments may be considered for exceptionally deserving candidates.
