Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and qualified French Teacher to teach students across Cambridge curriculum levels. The ideal candidate should possess strong language proficiency, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students to appreciate French language and culture through engaging and interactive teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach French language to students in accordance with the Cambridge International curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated, and student-centered lessons.
- Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in French.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and instructional materials.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
- Encourage cultural awareness and appreciation of Francophone cultures.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Support students in language competitions, projects, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and parents to ensure student success.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in French or relevant field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Certification/Diploma in French language proficiency is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in an international or reputed school preferred.
- Familiarity with Cambridge International curriculum is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
