Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Field Sales Engineer to join our team and drive sales of our air piping solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in air piping systems, excellent sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share for air piping solutions.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, project managers, and procurement professionals, at target accounts.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate air piping solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer service, to develop customized solutions and proposals for customers.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to educate customers on the features and benefits of our air piping solutions.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Provide post-sale support and assistance to customers, including coordination of installation and commissioning activities.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends using CRM software.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to air piping systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the air piping or industrial equipment industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of air piping systems, including piping materials, fittings, valves, and pressure regulators.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel 80% of the time to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
