We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our Research & Development team. The selected candidate will be involved in the complete design and development lifecycle of innovative equipment, machines, and engineering products, from understanding initial requirements and concept development to detailed design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and final implementation.
The role involves translating project and client requirements into practical, efficient, and manufacturable engineering solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing conceptual designs, 3D models, assemblies, detailed engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The candidate will work on mechanical systems, components, equipment, and products, including sheet metal and structural designs, while ensuring that all designs meet functional, technical, manufacturing, and cost requirements.
The Design Engineer will actively participate in the research, development, prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement of new and existing products and equipment. The role requires close coordination with the R&D, production, fabrication, and manufacturing teams throughout the development process. The candidate will also assist in identifying and resolving design and manufacturing challenges, selecting suitable materials and components, and optimizing designs based on performance, operational requirements, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
The position offers hands-on exposure to the complete engineering development process and provides an opportunity to work on the transformation of an initial engineering concept into a fully developed, functional, and manufacturable product or equipment. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate technical documentation, including design files, drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and other engineering records, and may coordinate with internal teams and clients for design discussions, modifications, and project requirements.
