Core Responsibilities
- Administration & Management: Planning and organizing the entire nursing department's workflow, creating rosters, hiring/training staff, and acting as a liaison between nursing, administration, and medical staff.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Developing protocols for patient care, enforcing infection control measures (Universal/Standard precautions), and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Staff Development & Leadership: Mentoring nurses, conducting orientation for new hires, organizing continuing education (CNE programs), and maintaining staff discipline.
- Resource & Inventory Management: Overseeing the procurement and proper utilization of hospital equipment, supplies, and linens.
- Administrative Oversight: Supervising the maintenance of nursing records, such as patient notes, logbooks, and ward reports, and managing budget allocations for the department.
- Clinical Rounds & Reporting: Making regular rounds of wards and the kitchen to evaluate patient satisfaction and care quality.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) is required, while a Master’s degree in Nursing (MSc Nursing) is preferred.
- Experience: Require 8 to 10 years of significant clinical and administrative experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, interpersonal, and crisis management skills are vital
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
