About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Backend Developer to design, build, and scale reliable server-side systems. You'll work on core services that power our product, collaborating closely with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to ship robust, high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Write clean, efficient, well-tested TypeScript/Node.js code
- Architect and deploy services on AWS, ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making
- Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring high system uptime
- Contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, and documentation
Must-Have Skills
- 4–7 years of professional backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway)
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving
- Strong grasp of backend fundamentals — REST APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, authentication, and system design
- Experience building and scaling microservices or distributed systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and testing frameworks
- Good understanding of performance optimization and debugging in production environments
Good to Have
- Working knowledge of Python or Go
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to message queues (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, ELK)

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
