Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sponsorship Sales Executive to drive sponsorship revenue for our conferences, summits, roundtables, awards, and industry events. The role requires complete ownership of the sponsorship sales process, from market research and lead generation to client acquisition, deal closure, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential sponsors through research, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email outreach, and cold calling.
- Generate sponsorship opportunities for conferences, summits, awards, and corporate events.
- Build and maintain a strong database of prospects and decision-makers.
- Create and share sponsorship proposals, presentations, and partnership packages.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with marketing heads, brand managers, partnership teams, and senior decision-makers.
- Negotiate sponsorship terms and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Coordinate with design, production, and operations teams to ensure sponsor deliverables are fulfilled.
- Manage sponsor relationships before, during, and after events.
- Track leads, opportunities, and sales activities through CRM and reporting tools.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and new sponsorship opportunities.
- Represent the company at business meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and sponsor confirmations.
Skills & Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in Sponsorship Sales, B2B Sales, Corporate Sales, Event Sales, Media Sales, or Business Development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of revenue targets.
- Comfortable with cold calling, lead generation, and client meetings.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email outreach.
- Willingness to travel for meetings and events.
