Key Responsibilities-
Export Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new international customers through online platforms, exhibitions, trade directories, and referrals.
- Prepare and submit quotations based on customer specifications.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment conditions.
- Maintain regular communication with overseas customers.
- Increase export sales and achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Follow up on inquiries until order confirmation.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order execution.
Product Sourcing – Jamnagar
Source and develop manufacturers for:
- Brass Builder Hardware
- Brass Precision Components
- Brass Electrical Components
- Brass Fasteners
- Brass Plumbing Components
- CNC Turned Components
- Custom Brass Parts
- Industrial Hardware
- OEM Products
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying new manufacturers.
- Evaluating production capability.
- Negotiating prices and commercial terms.
- Developing alternate sourcing options.
- Maintaining supplier cost competitiveness.
Vendor Development
- Build and maintain a strong network of qualified manufacturers.
- Conduct supplier qualification and capability assessments.
- Perform factory visits and supplier audits.
- Develop long-term strategic supplier relationships.
- Maintain an approved vendor database.
- Review supplier performance regularly.
Product Development & Sampling
- Coordinate development of new products based on customer requirements.
- Arrange samples from suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with customer drawings and specifications.
- Monitor sample approvals.
- Coordinate modifications until final approval.
Costing & Price Negotiation
- Prepare detailed product costing.
- Benchmark supplier prices.
- Negotiate the best commercial terms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Monitor fluctuations in brass and raw material prices.
Production Follow-up
- Monitor production schedules.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers to avoid delays.
- Resolve production bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to committed delivery schedules.
Quality Assurance
- Coordinate pre-dispatch inspections.
- Ensure products comply with customer specifications.
- Resolve supplier quality issues.
- Minimize rejection and rework.
- Coordinate third-party inspections whenever required.
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate dispatch readiness with suppliers.
- Ensure packing complies with export requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams.
- Support export documentation requirements.
- Ensure timely shipment of customer orders.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends in brass and hardware products.
- Track competitors and pricing.
- Identify new product opportunities.
- Report changes in raw material prices and supplier capacity.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare weekly supplier visit reports.
- Maintain sourcing status reports.
- Submit monthly export sales reports.
- Update vendor database.
- Track quotation-to-order conversion.
- Maintain supplier performance records.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA (International Business / Marketing) preferred.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Export Sales and Vendor Sourcing.
- Experience in Jamnagar brass industry is mandatory.
- Experience in builder hardware, architectural hardware, brass components, or engineering exports is preferred.
