Job Title: Accountant (Power Sector)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with 1–2 years of relevant experience in the Power, Energy, Electrical Infrastructure, EPC, Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy sectors. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and project-related accounting activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with taxation, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and books of accounts.
- Record and process vendor invoices, purchase entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow requirements.
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely statutory compliance.
- Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, reconciliations, and return filing.
- Handle project-wise accounting, cost allocation, and expense tracking for power and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor vendor advances, retention money, security deposits, and contractor payments.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and capitalization records.
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and finance teams for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Support internal and statutory audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.
- Assist in budget monitoring and project cost analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience in the Power, Energy, EPC, Electrical Infrastructure, Renewable Energy Sectors.
- Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and basic taxation.
- Experience in project accounting and contractor/vendor payment processing will be preferred.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Candidates with experience in any of the following sectors will be preferred:
- Power Generation
- Renewable Energy
- Transmission & Distribution (T&D)
- EPC Projects
- Electrical Infrastructure

This opportunity is strictly for candidates with 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience in the Power/Energy/EPC sector. Applicants from unrelated industries may not be considered.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
