We are looking for enthusiastic and technically driven Service Engineer Trainees to join our JCB dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and diploma holders who are passionate about construction equipment, heavy machinery, and commercial vehicles. The selected candidates will undergo structured on-the-job training and gain hands-on experience in servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining JCB machines under the guidance of experienced service professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Service Engineers in servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing JCB construction equipment.
- Support preventive maintenance, periodic servicing, and machine inspections.
- Attend customer breakdown calls along with senior engineers and assist in field service activities.
- Learn to diagnose hydraulic, engine, electrical, transmission, and mechanical faults.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and assist in machine commissioning.
- Maintain service records, job cards, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, workshop equipment, and safety gear.
- Assist in identifying spare parts required for repairs and maintenance.
- Follow JCB service procedures, dealership SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Participate actively in technical training sessions, workshops, and OEM certification programmes.
- Develop strong customer service skills while supporting after-sales service activities.
- Continuously upgrade technical knowledge on JCB products and new technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- ITI (Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Fitter, or equivalent) candidates are also encouraged to apply.
- Fresh graduates and final-year candidates awaiting results may also apply.
Experience Required
- No prior experience required.
- Candidates with internship, apprenticeship, or up to 1 year of experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, or automobile service will have an added advantage.
- Passion for Commercial Vehicles, Heavy Equipment, Construction Machinery, and Earthmoving Equipment is essential.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
