An Operations Manager of Outbound Logistics oversees the entire lifecycle of shipping products out of a warehouse to end-users or retail locations.
Responsible for optimizing order fulfillment, carrier management, shipping costs, and team productivity while ensuring compliance with safety and service-level agreements.
- Order Fulfillment: Direct pick, pack, and ship processes to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
- Transportation & Freight Management: Oversee carrier selection, negotiate shipping rates, and track shipments to ensure cost-efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse and logistics personnel,
- often across multiple shifts.
Key Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Typically 3+ to 5+ years of progressive hands-on logistics and management experience.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to local safety standards, shipping regulations, and hazardous material protocols if applicable.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, crisis management, and excellent negotiation skills.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
