Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team in Chennai. This role is ideal for freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about software testing and eager to build a career in Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and document test results.
- Identify, report, and track software defects.
- Perform regression, functional, and system testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure software quality.
- Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team to resolve issues.
- Ensure applications meet functional and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Manual Testing.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Knowledge of Test Case Design and Defect Life Cycle.
- Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Jira, Bugzilla, or similar bug-tracking tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc/MCA/M.Sc IT).
- Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
- Software Testing certification is an added advantage.
