About the Role
As a Junior Travel Consultant, you will support our travel planning team in delivering excellent experiences to clients. You will learn the end-to-end process of travel bookings, client communication, and itinerary planning under the guidance of senior consultants. Over time, you will independently manage client relationships and travel bookings.
What You Will Do
- Assist in handling client inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins
- Support in booking flights, hotels, and travel packages using online tools
- Help create customized domestic and international travel itineraries
- Coordinate with vendors, airlines, and hotel partners under guidance
- Maintain accurate travel records, bookings, and client documentation
- Learn to suggest suitable travel packages and understand client needs
- Assist senior consultants with visa documentation and travel coordination
- Stay updated on popular travel destinations, packages, and industry trends
- Ensure clients have a smooth and pleasant booking experience
What We Are Looking For
- A genuine passion for travel and tourism
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and/or Marathi
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, internet browsing)
- Willingness to learn travel booking platforms and tools (training provided)
- Friendly, customer-first attitude
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a team environment
- Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or BBA/BCom
- Basic knowledge of travel booking platforms (MakeMyTrip, Cleartrip, Amadeus, etc.)
- Prior internship or part-time experience in travel, hospitality, or customer service
- Interest in sales and ability to suggest and upsell travel services
