Job Summary
As a Senior SAP Developer will lead the design, development, implementation, customization, and support of SAP Business One (SAP B1) solutions. You will be responsible for developing enhancements, reports, integrations, and technical solutions while collaborating with business users, functional consultants, and external vendors to optimize ERP performance and support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Development & Customization
- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP Business One customizations and enhancements.
- Develop user-defined fields (UDFs), user-defined tables (UDTs), formatted searches, stored procedures, and transaction notifications.
- Build and maintain integrations between SAP B1 and third-party applications.
- Develop and optimize SQL/HANA queries, Crystal Reports, dashboards, and customized reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and database-related issues.
ERP Implementation & Support
- Participate in SAP B1 implementation, migration, upgrade, and rollout projects.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for SAP B1 users.
- Support implementation teams through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
- Coordinate with SAP partners and external vendors for issue resolution and product enhancements.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications and development solutions.
- Design Business Blueprint Documents and technical design documentation.
- Perform business process mapping and recommend system improvements.
Reporting & Data Management
- Design, develop, and maintain management reports using Crystal Reports and SAP B1 reporting tools.
- Perform data migration, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
System Administration & Performance Optimization
- Monitor ERP performance and optimize databases, integrations, and add-ons.
- Manage SAP B1 authorizations, licenses, workflows, and approval procedures.
- Ensure system security, backups, disaster recovery, and compliance with company policies.
- Recommend and implement technical improvements to enhance system performance.
Documentation & Training
- Prepare technical documentation, support handover documents, SOPs, and user manuals.
- Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor junior SAP developers, consultants, and support staff.
- Review code quality and enforce development best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ERP projects successfully.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for SAP Business One solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of SAP Business One development and support experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP B1 SDK, DI API, Service Layer, and integrations.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and SAP HANA databases.
- Experience with Crystal Reports, dashboards, and custom report development.
- Strong understanding of business processes, ERP systems, and SAP B1 modules.
- Experience in data migration, system integration, and ERP implementation projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Business One Certification.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, distribution, or retail environments.
- Knowledge of web services, APIs, and middleware integrations.
- Project management or team leadership experience.
- Experienced in IT Industry is an advantage
