Job description :
We are looking for an experienced Milling Machine Operator with 3–6 years of hands-on exposure in machining operations. The candidate should be capable of independently operating milling machines, maintaining accuracy, ensuring production targets, and following safety & quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate conventional milling machines with precision and efficiency.
- Understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and machining tolerances.
- Perform independent machine setup (job setting, tool fixing, alignment).
- Select and use appropriate cutting tools & speeds/feeds.
- Inspect finished components using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Maintain the machine condition and follow daily housekeeping standards.
- Monitor machining processes to ensure quality output with minimum rejection.
- Complete daily production reports and update job progress to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with quality, production, and tooling teams when required.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 3 to 6 years of experience as a Milling Operator in a precision machining/engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of machining parameters, job holding methods, and cutting tools.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/technical drawings.
- Good understanding of measuring instruments and quality checks.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.

- ITI / Diploma / Any technical background (preferred).
- Candidates with strong practical experience will be considered regardless of qualification.
Additional Preferences :
- Candidates residing in Ambattur / Thirumullaivoyal / nearby areas preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given priority.
