Position: Senior Automation QA Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications
- Build reusable automation scripts and scalable test suites to ensure continuous quality
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment
- Work closely with product management, backend developers, and frontend teams to understand requirements
- Identify, document, track, and resolve software defects using bug-tracking systems
- Optimize test coverage, execution speed, and test environment reliability
- Conduct performance, security, and regression testing as needed
- Ensure high testing standards through code reviews, documentation, and QA best practices
Skills Required
- Strong experience in test automation using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and Git version control
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with database testing (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud-based testing platforms
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented automation code
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
