VIDEO CREATOR & EDITOR

About the Role
We are looking for a creative and energetic Video Creator & Editor who can take ownership of the complete video creation process — from coming up with ideas and writing basic scripts to shooting/recording, editing, and delivering engaging short-form content. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in front of and behind the camera and have a good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media content formats.
Key Responsibilities
· Ideate and develop engaging video concepts for social media.
· Shoot and record videos using a smartphone/camera with proper framing, lighting, and audio.
· Be comfortable appearing on camera and creating talking-head, educational, promotional, and trend-based content when required.
· Write basic scripts, hooks, captions, and talking points for videos.
· Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
· Add captions, transitions, sound effects, music, graphics, and other elements to make videos engaging.
· Follow current social media trends, viral formats, sounds, and content styles.
· Handle the complete workflow from idea → script → shoot → edit → final video.
· Maintain consistency in video quality, branding, and visual style.
· Coordinate with the team to understand content requirements and campaign objectives.
· Take feedback positively and make required changes quickly.
· Manage and organize raw footage, project files, and final videos properly.
· Ensure videos are delivered within the assigned deadlines.
Requirements
· Experience in video creation and video editing.
· Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
· Basic knowledge of camera/smartphone shooting, lighting, framing, and audio recording.
· Good communication and presentation skills.
· Comfortable shooting and recording yourself or other team members.
· Strong sense of creativity, storytelling, and visual presentation.
· Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube content trends.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple video projects.
· A portfolio of previous video work is preferred.
