Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for project-related materials and services, ensuring timely availability, cost optimization, vendor coordination, and compliance with project requirements to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review purchase requisitions/material indents and validate requirements with project teams
- Source and evaluate vendors, obtain quotations, and ensure competitive pricing
- Prepare comparative statements and conduct commercial negotiations
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order fulfillment timelines
- Coordinate with vendors, stores, and project teams for material delivery and acceptance
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation
- Process invoice verification and coordinate with Accounts for timely payments
- Monitor procurement budgets, cost savings, and vendor performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Support inventory planning and material availability to avoid project delays
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Vendor sourcing, evaluation, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Procurement software
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement schedules effectively
Preferred Profile:
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain functions
- Experience in project-based industries such as MEP, Construction, Engineering, or Infrastructure preferred
