- Prepare and deliver Biology lessons for senior secondary classes in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, practical activities, assignments, and teaching materials to enhance student understanding.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure proper maintenance and safe use of laboratory equipment.
- Assess and evaluate students through tests, assignments, projects, practical examinations, and class performance.
- Maintain students’ academic records, attendance, progress reports, and assessment data.
- Guide students in preparing for board examinations and competitive exams related to Biology.
- Encourage scientific thinking, research skills, and practical application of biological concepts.
- Provide remedial teaching and extra support to weak students whenever required.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom and laboratory.
- Participate in school activities such as seminars, exhibitions, science fairs, workshops, and educational trips.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Coordinate with other teachers and school authorities for academic planning and student welfare.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus and submission of academic reports as directed by the school administration.
- Promote values of cleanliness, environmental awareness, and ethical scientific practices among students.
