Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC support, and enhancement project. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of procurement, inventory management, vendor management, and integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
-
Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions.

Configure and customize SAP MM processes in SAP ECC
- Work on end-to-end procurement lifecycle including:
- > Purchase Requisitions (PR)
- > Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
- > Purchase Orders (PO)
- > Contracts and Scheduling Agreements
- > Goods Receipt
- > Invoice Verification

Configure and support Inventory Management processes.

Hands on experience in configuration of Release strategy.

Manage vendor master data and material master data.
-
Perform requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.

Prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements, reports, forms, and interfaces.

Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments.
-
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
-
Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLAs.
-
Create user manuals and conduct end-user training sessions.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP SD, FI/CO and ABAP.

Knowledge of LSMW/Data Migration activities.

Strong experience on SAP ECC 6 and S4HANA is an advantage.

Exposure to procurement processes in manufacturing, retail, or distribution industries.

Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA procurement processes is an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

SAP MM Certification is preferred.
