Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager with relevant experience in the Cattle Feed, Animal Feed, Animal Nutrition or Feed Manufacturing industry.
The candidate will be responsible for managing QA & QC operations, feed quality testing, laboratory activities, QMS documentation, audits, CAPA and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) activities
- Maintain QMS, SOPs, CAPA, RCA and quality documentation
- Monitor raw material, in-process and finished feed quality
- Supervise feed testing laboratory operations
- Monitor quality parameters including Protein, Fat, Fibre, Moisture, Ash, Calcium and Phosphorus
- Ensure quality standards across grinding, mixing, pelleting and packing
- Investigate customer quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate internal and external quality audits
- Ensure applicable BIS, feed safety and regulatory requirements
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports and testing documentation
- Drive continuous improvement in feed manufacturing quality processes
Preferred Qualification
- B.V.Sc. & A.H.
- B.Sc. Agriculture
- M.Sc. Animal Nutrition
- Food Technology
- Or equivalent relevant qualification
Candidate Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant Quality experience
- Strong preference for candidates from Cattle Feed / Animal Feed / Feed Manufacturing / Animal Nutrition industries
- Knowledge of feed quality testing and laboratory practices
- Good understanding of QA, QC, QMS, SOP, CAPA, RCA and audits
- Knowledge of feed manufacturing processes and quality parameters
- Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
