Architect - Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering architectural solutions for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. The role involves preparing approval drawings, detailed construction drawings, coordination with consultants/clients/engineers, and ensuring execution aligns with design intent.
Job Description
1) Develop conceptual designs, space planning, and theme-based architectural solutions
2) Prepare presentations and design proposals for clients
3) Create innovative and functional designs with attention to aesthetics and detail
4) Prepare drawings for statutory approvals including plans, sections, elevations, and area statements
5) Produce detailed working and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings
6) Develop detailed sections, external elevations, and design details
7) Prepare interior 3D views, renderings, and design visualizations
8) Assist in design presentations through 3D models and walkthroughs
9) Perform basic structural drafting coordination (in line with structural engineer inputs)
10) Perform basic MEP services drafting coordination (in line with MEP engineers inputs)
11) Review drawings from external architects, consultants, and vendors
12) Coordinate with structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire, and other service consultants
13) Suggest improvements for infrastructure and external development works
14) Ensure designs comply with local bye-laws, zoning regulations, and national codes
15) Coordinate with liaisoning teams and authorities for approvals and modifications
16) Conduct periodic site visits to ensure work is executed as per design
17) Address site queries and provide timely design clarifications
18) Monitor quality, workmanship, and design adherence
19) Conduct meetings with clients, contractors, engineers, and consultants
20) Present designs and incorporate client feedback
21) Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, calculations, and transmittals
22) Track design changes, variations, and potential cost implications
23) Guide and support junior architects/draftsmen
24) Ensure timely delivery of drawings and project milestones
Required Qualification, Experience & Skills
- Freshers too can apply if they have knowledge on 3D softwares and its usage.
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelors degree in Architecture
- Be very inventive and imaginative with an eye for minute details to perfection
- Should have very good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in Kannada and Hindi will be an added advantage
