Head of Tax – Direct & Indirect Tax
Location: Navi Mumbai
Experience: 15+ years
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
We are looking for an accomplished tax professional to build and lead our Direct and Indirect Tax practice.
The role will be responsible for:
- Leading Direct Tax, International Tax, Transfer Pricing and GST advisory services
- Managing complex tax assessments, litigation, audits and regulatory matters
- Advising Indian and multinational clients on tax structuring, cross-border transactions and compliance
- Building and strengthening senior-level client relationships
- Driving client acquisition, business development and revenue growth
- Developing strategic partnerships and market opportunities
- Hiring, mentoring and leading a high-performing tax team
- Owning practice strategy, service quality, revenue targets and P&L performance
- Ensuring strong technical governance and keeping the practice aligned with evolving tax regulations
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Chartered Accountant with deep technical expertise across Direct and Indirect Tax, strong client relationships, commercial acumen and proven experience in building or scaling a tax practice.
Experience working with MNCs and cross-border tax matters is essential. Prior experience with a Big 4 firm or a reputed tax and advisory firm will be strongly preferred.
