Position: Plumber
Department: Engineering / Maintenance
Reports To: Engineering Supervisor / Chief Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing issues in guest rooms, kitchens, restaurants, laundry areas, and public facilities.
- Repair leaks, clogged drains, faulty faucets, flush systems, pumps, valves, and pipelines.
- Maintain hot and cold water systems, boilers, water tanks, and sewage systems.
- Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests.
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to the hotel's maintenance schedule.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and local plumbing regulations.
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and material usage.
- Coordinate with other engineering team members and contractors when required.
- Assist during emergencies such as water leaks, pipe bursts, or drainage blockages.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Plumbing or a related trade.
- Experience in hotel, hospital, commercial building, or facility maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing tools, equipment, and building maintenance systems.
- Ability to read plumbing drawings and technical manuals.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and preventive maintenance.

Typical Experience Requirement
- 1–3 years for Junior Plumber.
- 3–5+ years for Senior Plumber in hospitality or facility management.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
