Job Summary:
The Senior Engineer (Civil) is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and completing residential, commercial, and township construction projects within the defined scope, quality standards, budget, and timelines. The role involves supervising site execution, managing contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, maintaining project documentation, and coordinating with architects, consultants, and internal departments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Project Execution
- Execute civil construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Monitor daily site progress and prepare execution plans.
- Coordinate multiple ongoing construction activities simultaneously.
- Resolve site execution issues with practical engineering solutions.
2. Site Supervision
- Supervise RCC, finishing, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, flooring, structural steel, and infrastructure works.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved quality standards.
- Monitor manpower productivity and resource utilization.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
3. Quality Control
- Ensure construction complies with IS Codes, approved drawings, and company standards.
- Conduct material inspections before usage.
- Monitor quality of concrete, reinforcement, shuttering, finishing, and structural works.
- Coordinate third-party quality testing whenever required.
- Maintain quality checklists and inspection reports.
4. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams.
- Monitor contractor productivity and work quality.
- Verify contractor measurements and work completion.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery.
5. Project Planning & Monitoring
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
- Track project progress against planned timelines.
- Identify project delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain project dashboards and progress reports.
6. Quantity Survey & Billing
- Verify quantities executed at site.
- Prepare measurement sheets.
- Verify contractor RA Bills and final bills.
- Monitor material consumption and wastage.
7. Cost Control
- Monitor project expenses.
- Control material wastage.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machinery.
- Assist management in budget monitoring.
8. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed at site.
- Promote safe construction practices.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and local authority requirements.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
9. Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Architects
- Structural Consultants
- MEP Consultants
- Purchase Department
- Accounts
- Sales Team (for customer requirements)
- CRM Team (handover-related work)

Salary:
Competitive salary based on experience and skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
