Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on software to understand its features, usability, and potential risks.
- Verify sources, and document key technical and security-related details.
- Prepare structured and accurate reports using our proprietary Page Generation Utility.
- Help maintain and update the software directory by categorizing software, reviewing descriptions, and checking information for accuracy and relevance
- Submit reports for review and incorporate feedback for final approval.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the quality and accuracy of software pages published on Softorage.
Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical abilities to evaluate software, sources, and technical information with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of software concepts, operating systems, and common application categories (e.g., productivity, security, utilities).
- Interest in cybersecurity, data privacy, and safe software distribution practices.
- Clear written communication skills for preparing concise, accurate software descriptions and documentation.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a rapid environment, managing time and tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with online research tools, technical documentation, and collaboration platforms is an advantage.
