Job Summary
The IT Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the school's IT infrastructure, including computers, networks, software, and digital learning systems. The role ensures smooth operation of IT services to support teaching, learning, administration, and communication within the school.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and projectors.
- Manage school network infrastructure including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Monitor system performance and ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance and hardware troubleshooting.
2. Software & Systems Support
- Install and update operating systems and school-related software.
- Manage School Management System (SMS/ERP).
- Support smart classrooms and digital boards.
- Maintain antivirus and security software.
3. User Support & Helpdesk
- Provide technical support to teachers, staff, and students.
- Resolve IT-related issues promptly.
- Assist staff in using digital platforms and educational tools.
- Maintain logs of support requests and resolutions.
4. Data Management & Security
- Perform regular data backups.
- Ensure data privacy and security compliance.
- Monitor access control and user permissions.
- Protect systems from cyber threats and malware.
5. Website & Digital Platforms
- Maintain and update school website content.
- Manage email systems and cloud platforms.
- Support online classes and video conferencing tools.
6. Inventory & Vendor Management
- Maintain IT asset inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and repairs.
- Evaluate IT equipment requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Information Technology (IT)
- Computer Science
- Electronics / Computer Applications
- Certifications preferred:
- Hardware & Networking
- CCNA (optional)
- Microsoft / Google certifications (optional)
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Computer hardware and troubleshooting
- Networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
- Windows and basic Linux systems
- School ERP systems
- Printers and smart classroom devices
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Time management and multitasking skills
Experience Requirements
For Junior IT Executive:
- 1–2 years of IT support experience
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered
For Senior IT Executive:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in school IT environment preferred
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
