We are looking for a Project Lead to run our day-to-day software delivery, manage sprint velocity, and handle technical dependencies across our engineering pods. In this role, you will take high-level feature requests from product managers and break them down into concrete, technical tasks for the development team. You will be responsible for spotting delivery bottlenecks before they delay a release, running efficient stand-ups, and keeping our production deployments on schedule.
Core Responsibilities
- Convert product roadmaps into technical specifications, granular Jira tickets, and clear acceptance criteria for developers.
- Run daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to keep development on track.
- Track sprint metrics, velocity charts, and open blockers to give leadership accurate timelines for feature releases.
- Map technical dependencies across engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams to prevent deployment delays.
- Shield the engineering team from scope creep and mid-sprint changes by managing stakeholder expectations.
- Keep project documentation, release notes, and architecture diagrams updated and accurate.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of total experience in tech, with at least 2 years directly managing software delivery, tracking sprints, or leading engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience configuring Jira workflows, building delivery dashboards, and managing confluence spaces.
- Solid technical background that allows you to understand code constraints, API dependencies, and architectural discussions without getting lost.
- Strong grip on practical Agile and Scrum frameworks, with a focus on delivery over rigid theory.
- Clear, direct communication style with the ability to unblock technical conflicts and manage timeline pressures.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical industry experience.
Employee Benefits
- Competitive annual base salary with performance-linked variable pay bonuses.
- Comprehensive group medical insurance covering you and your immediate dependents.
- Statutory Provident Fund (PF) contributions with optional VPF enrolment.
- Gratuity benefits structured according to local employment regulations.
- Flexible leave policy encompassing earned leave, casual leave, paid parental leave, and public holidays.
- Annual learning budget for project management certifications, leadership training, and technical courses.
- Modern workspace setups providing top-spec engineering hardware and internet allowances.
