Site Engineer – Residential Projects
About the Role
Lagoo Apte Developers is seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Engineer to manage and supervise residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality execution, timely completion, safety compliance, and effective coordination with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities / Job Description
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Verify quantities and assist in billing and measurement activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and site housekeeping standards.
- Conduct quality inspections for RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and allied works.
- Manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Attend project review meetings and provide progress updates.
- Identify and resolve technical and execution-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–7 years of experience in residential building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing works, and construction methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in redevelopment and residential apartment projects.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and site management.
- Strong problem-solving and team management abilities.
