Job description
The QA/QC Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and relevant API Specifications (API 6A, 5CT, and 7-1). The role ensures all manufacturing and service activities comply with international quality standards and customer requirements, while promoting continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Quality Management System
- Establish, implement, and maintain QMS in line with ISO 9001:2015.
- Ensure compliance with API Q1 and product specifications API 6A, API 5CT, and API 7-1.
- Manage internal and external audits (including API audits), ensuring NCRs are closed effectively.
✔ QA/QC Oversight
- Lead and supervise quality control inspectors and QA personnel.
- Review and approve quality plans, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and welding/WPS documentation.
- Ensure incoming, in-process, and final inspections are conducted as per specifications.
✔ Documentation & Certification
- Manage and maintain documentation required for API monogram licensing.
- Review and approve MTCs, test reports, calibration records, and traceability documents.
- Prepare quality dossiers for customer approval.
✔ Supplier & Subcontractor Quality
- Evaluate and approve suppliers based on API and ISO requirements.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and conduct periodic supplier audits.
✔ Customer Interface
- Address customer complaints, NCRs, and CARs promptly.
- Participate in contract review and technical clarification related to quality requirements.
✔ Training & Compliance
- Conduct internal training on API & ISO standards.
- Ensure staff awareness and compliance with QMS procedures and quality objectives.
✔ Continuous Improvement
- Analyze data from audits, inspections, and customer feedback to identify trends.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA), 5 Why, and CAPA activities to drive improvement.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹1,787,184.19 per month
